Union of the Magi

The collective name for the mage's guild that stretches across Arkosia and into Malec and Thask. They are responsible for running the various mage academies across the continent. Their schools are by far the greatest places to study the magical arts, even if their scholarship is hampered by conservatism and tradition.

One of their most prominent branches, the Academy of Ashaad, was nearly destroyed by the Underdark invasion, crippling the Union's influence and reputation.
